neXpect
knowledge management tools
The "neXpect"
knowledge management tools are a family of products that
are designed to improve the way you interact with the information
in your computer. We believe that this family of products
will define the category of Personal Knowledge Management
by helping you to get control of all the "data"
and "information" that is scattered througout
your computer and will allow you to turn it into Knowledge
that you can use.
Most existing applications and personal information managers
present data and information on the computer's terms. Users
are forced to use an "interface" to the computer.
We want to change that and allow you to work with your thoughts
and ideas in human terms. Realizing this goal will be an
evolutionary process. Our first product versions take "baby
steps" toward our goal. We continue to refer to our
process and the design criteria for neXpect as "Beginners
Mind".

TranSender Idea Window is the first of the "neXpect"
knowledge management tools. The goal of the "TranSender"
Idea Window is to allow you to easily capture creative and
subtle ideas without allowing the computer interface to disrupt

"Mind
Designer" personal knowledge manager
Are you a habitual
outliner? Do you use "personal information managers"
(like Microsoft Outlook)? Do you get frustrated by the "interface"
that these products provide? Applications like Outlook can
be clumsy and challenging to use effectively, especially
for right brained, visually oriented users. Our
"Mind Designer" might help you get better control
of your stuff... "Mind Designer" allows you to
break out of the heirarchies that most outliners force you
into. As a non-programmer, you can effectively create your
own application that works with the way you think
instead of being hostage to the way some programmers think
you should organize your stuff. The "Mind Designer"
works seamlessly in real-time with Microsoft Outlook. "Mind
Designer"includes our highly visual "Knowledge
Lens" idea mapper to give you a holographic view of
your ideas. The "Ontologer" knowledge manager
is our industrial strength enterprise level knowledge management
tool. "Ontologer" provides the intuitive interfaces
of "Mind Designer" and "Knowledge Lens"
in a shared, distributed work-group or enterprise environment.
Ecco
Helpers
EccoHelpers is
a collection of utilities for EccoPro. It is currently being
provided for free to the EccoPro community. Paid support
is available.
Ecco was once
considered to be the top personal information manager (PIM).
When it was at the height of it's popularity, it was discontinued
by it's manufacturer. Ecco continues to be unsurpassed in
many ways and continues to have an avid and loyal group
of users.
Ecco was used
extensively for project management, requirements tracking,
planning, etc. in the early stages of development for neXpect.

We developed
a number of extensions to Ecco for our own use and decided
